It’s time for fans of Ajith to rejoice. ‘Vivegam’ has finally waltzed its way into theatres today and is ready to make the audience go berserk. Here are 5 reasons that movie lovers would want to watch this Siva-directed film that also has Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan:
Thala Ajith craze!
While Ajith’s films have had the most successful openings over the years, this film is set to be even more bigger considering the fact that the fans will be seeing their Thala sporting a six-pack. A lot of buzz has been around the physical effort Ajith has put in for the film in terms of shaping his body and shooting in difficult weather conditions.
This is the third time Ajith and director Siva have teamed up after their successful ‘Veeram’ and ‘Vedalam’. With back-to-back hits, the duo would be expecting a hat-trick of hits with ‘Vivegam’. The trailer seems to promise just that. Director Siva has also gone bigger and taken a giant leap in terms of filmmaking.
Friend or Foe
An interesting addition to this much awaited spy-thriller is Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi. While he plays a agent along with Ajith in the counter terrorism squad, the big question that has been everyone’s mind is — is he the friend who turns villain in the film? While the trailer seems to reveal mainly the friendly side of his character, fans are wondering if he will stay that way throughout the film or turn villain.
Never ending action sequences
Apart from Ajith’s physical transformation, the other interesting and most-talked about aspect of the film is the action sequences. While it has already been revealed that there are numerous fight scenes which includes Ajith showing off his skills with a sword and nunchako, there is also war sequence in which both Ajith and Vivek are seen on tanks. Last but not the least, the fans would be most eagerly waiting to catch the star’s bike stunts in the movie.
Kajal’s romance and Akshara’s Tamil debut
The leading ladies of ‘Vivegam’ have also upped the interest of the fans. Kamal Haasan’s youngest daughter Akashara Haasan, who made a strong debut in Bollywood with ‘Shamitabh’, couldn’t have asked for a better debut in Kollywood, as she will be sharing screen space with Ajith here. While she is said to be playing a key role in moving the story forward, Kajal Aggarwal as the romantic interest is likely to be a pleasant relief from all the high-octane and racy action sequences in the film.
