Nithyananda claims video with actress was morphed

Chennai: Self-styled godman Nithyananda has claimed that four US-based forensic agencies have concluded that visuals showing him in a compromising position with an actress were “morphed.”
“Forensic reports from four US-based agencies have endorsed my claim showing 60 reasons. So the video aired (by regional channels) was absolutely a fabricated lie,” he told reporters in Chennai.
He claimed the software used by those who morphed was sophisticated and could not be detected by FSL labs in India, but only by US based agencies.
Nithayananda, who has his ashram near Bangalore, was arrested in Himachal Pradesh early in 2010 on criminal charges, including rape after the controversial video was telecast by TV channels. He was later released on bail.

Ranjitha again at Nithyananda’s ashram

Months after the alleged sex scandal involving her with Swami Nithyananda broke out, South Indian film actor Ranjitha again appeared in news. She attended Nityanandas function held at Bangalore ashram. So many devotees attended that function. Nityanada promised his devotees that he will make them fly in the air by his divine power, but nothing happened in that function. Many female devotees including actress Ranjitha were trying to fly in the air by jumping, nothing had happened expect great joke for the news who are seeing surya TV news.

Nithyananda lodges complaint against Sun Group

CHENNAI: Members of Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, the ashram run by tainted godman Nithyananda, handed over a complaint to the Commissioner of Police in the city on Wednesday, alleging they had been threatened, assaulted and money had been extorted from them by persons related to the media houses that brought out the video allegedly showing their leader being intimate with actress Ranjitha.The complaint was filed by Nithyathmaprabhananda, the manager of Nithyananda’s ashram. It identified Lenin and Aarthi Rao as the persons who produced the obscene video and also accused the duo of blackmailing, threatening and extorting money from representatives of the ashram.The complaint notes that ashram representatives had been held hostage and beaten up till they coughed up close to Rs 40 lakh. It also names an advocate Sridhar, an individual named Kumar, Nakkeeran Gopal and Kamaraj of the Nakkeeran group of publications, Sun Network COO Hansraj Saxena and his aide Iyappan as among others who threatened and ordered assaults on representatives of the ashram.“We didn’t give the complaint earlier because the situation was not conducive. We have been threatened, harassed and assaulted. We request the government to take stringent action against these people,” said Nithyananda, reflecting the words of actress Ranjitha from a day earlier.His complaint also included a recording of a phone conversation with Sridhar threatening the ashram representatives to pay up or have the obscene video published and broadcast.The complaint carries a detailed account of the negotiation process between ashram representatives, initially with Sridhar and subsequently with Nakkeeran Gopal, Kamaraj and Iyappan.When questioned as to why he chose to pay up, Nithyananda said, “When a crorepati like Aircel Sivasankaran can be armtwisted into paying up, what option did a sanyasi like me have.” Nithyananda also said that the group which had extorted him had an eye on his ashram’s property, resulting in the smear campaign.
Nithyananda falls from horse, fractures limbs

Bangalore: Controversial godman Swami Nithyananda was admitted to Manipal hospital with both arms fractured after he fell off a horse he was riding at his Bidadi Ashram last morning.
According to the doctors who treated Nityananda, a bone had pierced through his skin and required corrective surgery.
Dr Raj Chakravarthy, HOD Orthopedic department Manipal, who performed the surgery on him said that he was brought to the hospital with compound fractured injuries in both forearms.
Chakravarthy informed that the surgery was successful and Nityananda was shifted to a ward for two days post operative care. Ashram spokesperson Sachid said that the incident occurred when Nityananda was riding his horse, which was a regular practice after his morning mediation session.
Devotees who had come for darshan gathered started cheering, following which his horse panicked and bolted, resulting in their swami falling to the ground. Sachid informed that he is currently fine and will probably be discharged shortly.

After Ranjitha, Nithyananda claims sex video was not of him

Swami Nithyananda, allegedly involved in a sex scandal, has claimed that there were some influential persons behind the allegations of sexual misconduct made against him.
Nithyananda also claimed that the people involved in framing the allegations had tried to extort Rs100 crore from him to prevent the release of the sex video, allegedly involving him and actress Ranjitha, to a TV news channel.
Nithyananda, who was addressing the media at his Bidadi ashram said, “I have all necessary proof to prove that people with political background have threatened, blackmailed and demanded ransom. I don’t want to reveal names to the media, because my life will be in danger after that. I will submit all the names along with the proof to the court.”

‘Sex Swami’ Nityananda gets conditional bail

The man who has come to be known as Bangalore’s sex swami has been granted conditional bail.
Swami Nityananda was arrested in April. He was found in Himachal Pradesh after a sex scandal erupted at his ashram near Bangalore. In March, local media aired a video that allegedly shows the swami with a Tamil actress.
He has since been charged with rape and unnatural sex.
He’s likely to be released from jail on Monday. He has been asked to provide a one-lakh bond, and to surrender his passport. He has also been forbidden from public discourses. He’ll have to report to a local police station once every fortnight. Read full story from publisher
I’m not a man, Nityananda told CID sleuths

BANGALORE: “I’m not a man. There’s no way I could have indulged in sexual activities with women. Do a potency test on me”. That’s the sum and substance of Swami Nityananda’s startling statements to CID sleuths soon after he was brought to Bangalore after being arrested in Himachal Pradesh.
However, CID sleuths decided to ignore him, believing he was only trying to sidetrack the investigation. The swami’s passport clearly mentions his gender as male, not transgender. The CID plans to take a call on this after receiving the report of the Forensic Science Laboratory, Hyderabad, on a CD that has 36 video clips of Nityananda with at least five different women. The CID had sent the CD to Hyderabad for analysis and hopes to get the report on Friday, sources said.
The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) issued a circular to all airports to check items carried by the godman when he travelled in and out of India. According to information collected by DRI, Nityananda would carry gold-plated worship material like kamandalas and slippers to the US. Read full story from publisher
Sex Swami’ Nithyananda arrested in Himachal

Bangalore’s “Sex Swami” Nithyananda has been arrested a long way from home - in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district.
Nithyananda was arrested in Arki by the Bangalore Police, who had sought the help of the Himachal Police. The self-styled swami was likely to be taken to the Solan court or the Simla court for transit remand. (Read: Swamis in scandals – What keeps the faith?)
The controversial swami has been at large ever since television channels aired video clippings purportedly of him and an actress in a compromising situation with young women, one of whom is reported to be a local actress.
