Japanese manufacturer, Suzuki Motorcycle is all set to launch its facelift version of Access 125 today. With new cosmetic changes and Suzuki’s eco Performance system, the upgraded scooter will try to make appeal among youth and commuter segment together. It will rival against the likes of Honda Activa 125, which has been ranked among the best two wheeler sold in India. The expected price range of the scooter is somewhere INR 55,000 to INR 60,000.
Cosmetically speaking, it has received 3D emblem logo that has chrome finish with stylish and edgy lines. It features longest seat, largest under-seat storage in the segment, bigger floorboard, front pocket, optional DC socket, multi-function digital instrument cluster, steel front fender and leg shields for protection and durability. It also comes with an optional front disc brake with alloy wheels and it is available in 5 colour options which are Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue No.2, Candy Sonoma Red, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray and Glass Sparkle Black.
It is powered by a single cylinder, 125cc engine which is capable of producing a maximum power of 8.58 bhp of power at 7,000 rpm and 9.8Nm of peak torque, its engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. It other features include 12 inch bigger front tire and along with better suspension to offer improved stability and performance in city roads. If priced correctly, the Honda Activa might face some heat from this latest offering from Suzuki Company.
