The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened on a flat note on Tuesday tracking the SGX Nifty and Asian peers. At 9.35 am, the BSE Sensex was down 0.03 per cent at 27,721.43. On the other hand, NSE Nifty was up 0.08 per cent at 8,359.75.
Here are some stocks to watch out for today:
- ICICI Bank: The bank announced its association with Alibaba.com for the launch of the Trade Facilitation Center, a single window facility to provide easier trade finance to the small and medium enterprises in India. The collaboration for Trade Facilitation Center will enable the Indian entrepreneurs who are members of Alibaba.com to get quick access to an array of integrated business services from ICICI Bank including business loans, cash management solutions, foreign exchange transactions, bank guarantees and cross-border remittances, in addition to privileges and discounts. In early trade on Tuesday, ICICI Bank shares were trading at Rs 315.25, up 0.03 per cent against its previous close.
- Blue Dart Express: Blue Dart Express on June 22 said it has become a majority shareholder in Blue Dart Aviation after purchasing additional 21 per cent stake. Now, the overall shareholding of the company in Blue Dart Aviation has increased to 70 per cent. Blue Dart Express’ board of directors approved hiking stake in Blue Dart Aviation from the present 49 per cent to 74 per cent. Post the approval of the board, the company has acquired additional 21 per cent and now company holds 70 per cent stake into Blue Dart Aviation Ltd, the filing said. Shares of Blue Dart Express were trading at Rs 6,140.70, up 1.20 per cent against its previous close.
- Larsen and Toubro: The company informed BSE that its mettalurgical and material handling business has secured new orders worth Rs 15,07 crore across various verticals. Shares of the company were trading 1.76 per cent higher at Rs 1,761.50 in early trade.
- Axis Bank: Axis Bank has informed BSE on Monday (post market hours) that the bank has allotted 31,855 equity shares of Rs 2 each on June 22 pursuant to exercise of options under its ESOP Scheme. At 9.40 am, shares of Axis Bank were at Rs 573, up 0.17 per cent against its previous close.
