Snow disrupts Europe travel

UK’s most widespread snowfall in 17 years disrupted travel as airports temporarily closed or limited services, forcing cancelations of European services. Edinburgh Airport was shut repeatedly due to heavy snowfall, Glasgow Airport shut for a day.

London Stansted Airport was open but there were delays due to adverse weather elsewhere. At Frankfurt airport, 124 out of about 1,300 flights were cancelled as weresome flights out of Amsterdam.
