Osama dead, Dawood becomes world’s most-wanted man

After Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden’s killing, the India’s most wanted — Dawood Ibrahim — has emerged as the world’s second most wanted man.

According to British daily The Guardian’s, “The World’s Most Wanted” list, the main accused in the 1993 serial blasts in Mumbai, is next only to Mexican drug lord Joaquin Guzman.

The Guardian report says: “The most wanted man in India heads up a 5,000-strong organised crime network called the D-Company that is involved in everything from drugs trafficking to contract killing in Pakistan, India and the UAE. Currently on the Interpol wanted list for organised crime and counterfeiting, besides association with al-Qaeda.”
