The Millennium City can finally boast of Metro. Come Monday and thousands of people, who battle bumper to bumper traffic between Delhi and Gurgaon every day, will finally get a chance to experience a quick and hassle-free ride to their offices.
“We are excited… there is no public transport. With the traffic coming along, we prefer to travel to Delhi by the Metro,” said a Gurgaon resident.
The trains on the 14-km Qutub Minar-HUDA City Centre corridor will run between 6 am and 11 pm with a frequency of approximately 12 minutes.
It will take just 27 minutes to complete the whole journey.
