The all new Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 boasts integration of cloud technology to provide all round protection of the computer from threats that are seemingly multiplying at an alarming rate.
Kaspersky South Asian Director Altaf Halde said, “Cybercrime is becoming the biggest threat in today’s world with about 70,000 new malware being generated each day. Our 2012 range of products deliver safe and efficient working environment on users‘ computers.”
The company, which currently prides on being the 3rd largest presence in the world with a turnover of $2 billion, has acquired the “2nd position in the Indian market in one year of its introduction.”
Channel Sales Director Jagannath Patnaik informed that the current turnover of Rs 50 crore was expected to be double this fiscal year despite the high rate of piracy in India and they would add more
resellers to their current assembly of more than 12,000.
The 2012 versions of the flagship products are touted as less of a drag on resources because of constant collaboration with the entire cloud network of Kaspersky Lab.
“We bring to you hybrid protection that combines the power of in-the-cloud technologies and on-the-PC (personal computer) protection. The new versions of Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 protect internet users’ computers from unknown and dangerous malware by analysing the behaviour of suspicious software and referencing it against Kaspersky Lab’s cloud based systems, which provide real-time information about threats in the wild,” Patnaik said.
