It’s official, guys; Justin Bieber is coming to India

There’s no dearth of Beliebers in India, and there’s no dearth of joy for these Indian Beliebers. The news is now official–Grammy Award winner and global pop sensation Justin Bieber is heading to Indian soon enough.

The speculation around Bieber’s tour being extended to India had been doing the rounds the past couple of weeks. Now, White Fox India, the promoters of his tour, have confirmed that the 22-year-old Canadian singer’s Purpose World Tour will be held in India at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai, on May 10, 2017.

Bieber’s Purpose World Tour is to celebrate his fourth album, Purpose, in which Bieber has experimented with electronic sounds. Apart from India, the Asia leg of the tour will also see performances in Tel Aviv and Dubai. So, if this comes as good news to you, you can preregister for tickets on Book My Show. Tickets will go on sale February 22 onwards, and the pricing for them will start at Rs 4,000.

At the concert, you can expect Bieber to belt out his most popular hits like Where Are U Now, Boyfriend, Love Yourself, Company, As Long As You Love Me, What Do You Mean?, Baby and Purpose, amongst others. Arjun Jain, director, White Fox India, says, “This tour is one of the most successful in the world at the moment and will further enhance India’s current cultural repertoire. We are expecting a full house on May 10 with one of the biggest arena tours witnessed in recent times.” Purpose is Justin Bieber’s first album in two years. Right after its release, Purpose was the most streamed album on Spotify in one week, with What Do You Mean being the most-played song. The record sold more than 6,40,000 copies in less than a week.
