IPL 6: Legends (Tendulkar, Dravid and Ponting) at one pitch in MI vs RR match

When Rajasthan Royals will take on Mumbai Indians in the 23rd match of Indian Premier League today at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur from 8pm, three legends of cricket: Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Ricky Ponting, will be on the same pitch.

Though Rahul Dravid is on the

opposite side, it will be a dream come true for cricket fans to see their idols playing together.

Another interesting collision would be of Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh as it will be first time they will come face to face after the former mentioned the slapgate incident on Twitter.

MI have a strong team, their middle order has performed, bowlers have taken wicket and fielding has been spectacular. Ponting took a spectacular catch of Unmukt Chand even at the age of 38 was the example of their fielding.

Malinga and Mitchell Jhonson are two of the most dangerous bowlers in IPL and on the hard pitch of Jaipur they would be unstoppable. Dinesh Kartik, Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard have won MI matches with their batting performances.

And with what we saw in previous match of MI vs PW, openers Sachin and Ponting were getting in to the rhythm of IPL and if they do, MI would be formidable.

Rajasthan on the other hand have also won their matches with the contribution of both their batsmen and their bowlers. Dravid, Rahane and Hodge have performed regularly and if Watson clicks, Royals can put or chase a massive total.

Bowling department of Royals that includes Sreesanth, Faulkner, Cooper and Trivedi has been strong for them. These four have defended team”s total or have restricted the opponent to a small one.

MI and RR have same points with three wins out of their four matches. Both teams will be looking to surpass each other.
