Ahead of its reveal in America tomorrow, the next generation BMW X3 has been leaked onto the world wide web. This is the third generation for the automaker’s mid-size SUV and will mark the car’s movement to a new lightweight platform.
As expected, this new X3, sports an evolutionary design and now has more of an SUV look as compared to the crossover leanings of the outgoing model. The car appears to have grown both in terms of length and width giving it a defining silhouette. The car in the photos is an M140i and so has the sporty bumpers, new tail lamps and dual exhausts. It also gets the M-spec wheels which add to the sporty appearance.
The cabin is standard BMW fare but with a new infotainment system that we suspect will be offered with a new infotainment system and chrome bits for the cabin which enhance the premium factor of the cabin. The pictures tell us that the car can be had either with black or brown interiors though it is possible that the range will be much wider and be market dependent.
